Title: What length Swinger?
Post by: Daddypimpin on November 04, 2008, 04:44:37 PM
Goin to change a few bit's on the Bike & get rid of stuff i don't really nee for Road Riding.

The Armour & a few other bit's are coming off & going on E bay, the YFZ Shocks are being replaced by some R1 unit's & a new Swinger is needed to try & put more off the power down forwards instead of up lol!

From having a little read up on here i thing i would be good just adding a +2 for normal driving.

Do you thing this would be about right & where is a good place to get one?

I wouldn't go with a larger swinger unless you were building a new motor.

I like the front end being light so I agree with Flynbyu on this one. I don't do drag racing much at all though. If I did,  motor work would warrant a +2 swinger maybe.

It's hard keeping the Front down all the time on Tarmac when your trying to spank a Scooby or the like lol. Plus, i also want the Swinger for weight reasons! I want to go lower & lighter for obvious reasons & I've got the stock Swinger + Armour etc on at the min!

Racing on Tarmac, probably necessary.

BTW  +1 on using the word Tarmac. Makes me want to watch rally racing!
