Well i didn't make it, but andrew over at H.E.P. Did

Coolest guy to deal would love to do business with him again. i was over at YFZ central and noticed he had a tool can for the YFZ 450 & asked if he could fab one up for the 700. I measured my mounting holes near the grab bar called him with the info and 1 week later BAM its at my door. He also made it longer for me 9" vs the 7" he normally makes. AND powder coated it white FOR FREE.

Hes out of IL, his number is 815 842 2002 if you guys want to order one.

O and i mainly got it not because i brake down but so i can carry some heavy duty tow rope for when my buddies brake down on the trails and a few extra tools is always nice:)

how does it lock into place. And would it work w/ duals?

if you look at the top of the pic there are 2 mounting holes which line up with the grab bar mounting holes.

It won't work with duals unless you find another place to mount it and just measure the 2 holes from one another and andrew will make it work!

That's what I was thinking. The lid itself. how does that lock into place?

its a rubber cap that fits very snug onto the end. he includes 2, not because they fall off after a while, but because the black fades after a year or 2.

$49.99 + 8.95 shipping

although since i had him make it a bit longer (9.25 vs 7.25) he said usually its $10 bucks more but didn't charge me the extra fee.

I am thinking about cutting the edges of the cover and putting velcrow on each end, and then velcrow on the tool box. May make for a more secure fit. But first i will see how this does.
