+1 When your idling through tight trails in first, not much airflow  Beside's they are WAY better looking then the rest!
just ordered monsters from tqs. :wootwoot: was going to get dasa but i called them and they gave me a real timeline which was soonest 3 months and longest 6 months. then it was a real hard pick between barkers or monsters and ended up going with monsters.
I think if you're ordering right now, it's between Monsters and Barkers. Both have good power and fit, so it really comes down to looks and price. You can't loose with either one you pick. The Dasa pipes may be awesome, 3-6 months from now.
duals?

they have 1 set made. and its not the final product. they still have to fine tune all the parts of the exhaust from they tell me. they have not even put it on a dyno yeat. they also want to catch all there orders up before they put them out.
so everyone is just speculating by saying they are gonna be better than the other 3 top performers. Im sure they could keep on going back to the drawing board to make them better some how but to say now that they are better is just a speculation.Right? Ive heard about these on the "other" forum(s) but all we hear is they are better. I havnt seen any pics either.
If they truely are going to be better, then your going to need all the power you can get for pikes peak and thats more than 6 months away.
i really belive they will better than anything else that will be out. that is hy they are taking so long dasa said they just dont want to put out another dual. they want it to be something.
I voted DASA even if it takes 6 months
I'm waiting
i voted barker's only because i have them and know how they perform. However i also like the monster's because of the way they mount
I have LTE's and love the way the perform and sound.. great pipes
however i have spent time with the Barkers, polishing them, and i do like the build quality, and welds. nice product!

right now it's totally speculation.. I'm not familiar what so-ever with any of their products. But by what everyone says they are nothing but top notch.. I guess.. Time will tell. ;)

bluetraxx.com did the shootout between all the duals. All on the same two quads and all on the same dyno. That was solid proof.

My barkers don't.
the dasa pipes will be great when they come out. if you can wait 6 months then i would but i just could not so thats why i got monsters
Ive voted for the Monster's,as i have them and had no problems what so ever, sound good, perform and look cool.As said before if you can wait for the DASA duals then im sure they are going to be top of the pack, other wise i would say Monster's :grin_nod:
If I had to choose with what is available, I'd pick Barkers. I can't pick something that isn't even out yet. I waited 2 months for more reports on the Dasa and now it is another 3 to 6 months. Screw it, I have waited long enough.
Also, I heard that Barker will be coming out with a new set of pipes for the 800+ rappys.
Everything you have heard about Dasa duals is speculation. Someone over on Raptorforum heard a little about them and totally jumped the gun. This is what we do know about Dasa Duals
1. they arent out yet
2. they wont be out untill the end of this year at the soonest.
3. nobody really knows how they are going to perform because the design isnt done.
Its hilarious how all this hype and rumors can get started from 1 guy!
Sorry guys but I had to vent a bit. I have had far too many phone calls from people trying to buy a product thats not out yet. I really look forward to selling the Dasa duals and im sure they will be great when they are out. Untill then lets stick with what we know is the best. Monsters and Barkers. I have probably sold 100 + sets of these in the past year with very little problems (everyone of which was taken care of ASAP because of both companies awesome customer service) and we have some really fast running bikes around.
My vote goes to whats available now! Unless of course your not going to ride your bike for the next 6-8 months then you can wait and see how the Dasa duals really do perform. But just a little hint. By that time we ARE going to have a couple sets of new exhaust from other companies that WILL perform as well.
that is funny tqs how 1 person with some slaped on headers with dasa tips can start so much. i was pissed myself about how some dealers are handling it. str8 lieing about release dates and what was happing. i am super happy i got my $ back and got monsters.
I vote Barkers, I think they look the best

GNCCs for Racing, Razrs for trails, I'd run the GNCCs full time, but there too much $$$

They wear ok, but not gonna risk ~80 bucks a piece on rougher trails
80 bucks a tire is cheap! They can be patched. I wish I was more into trails cause 200 a tire for paddles sucks ass! Congrats on the new parts!

for $200 bucks a tire, they better package a hooker in the box with them ::)
Dont even get a reach around! But when a get into the really light. high paddle count 25's they get spendy. And ya gotta have a few different ones for track condition. Its the price of going fast I guess!

I'll make sure to pack a chute for it. Just in case
I'm bummed, I missed the Land's End race today. They do a chitty job of advertising for it here. It would be cool to run that one, even just for fun.
Hey Russ, do you have a link?
Colorado - You could eliminate the parachute if you had a "just in case" backpack/Rocket Pack

Custom? ???
well, idividualized anyway. Might do alot of detials to get the look I want.
I voted for the monstas for sure! I have had plenty of time to think about it because I dont have the money yet LOL. I like the welded on billet mounts on the silencer cans better than the strap system some others use that have been breaking,I like the billet clamp mounting system on the middle section of the exhaust pipe better than welded on strap that can rip out of thin wall pipe,I love the look of the monsters and the adjustable tips are coolest .I know they are repackable with removeable bolts, Barkers are my second choice but I think you have to drill out rivets to repack? I have done that before and you end up wrecking the end caps after the second repack
