Title: Need help! Anyone know if a +2 raptor fits in an s-10?????
Post by: r00st on October 17, 2008, 10:22:30 PM
I am looking for a winter beater (and something to haul the 700 around in) and found a few cheap s-10's in my area on craigs list. That is what i borrowed (like a 91) to bring her home in and it fit pretty easily. I know stock width is like 46.8. The new houser LT arms are +2.25 per side..

so 46.8 + 4.5 = 51.3

Anybody have an s-10 or know if a +2 raptor fits in an s-10 bed??!?!

Even if its close I dont care (hell.. Ill take a saw to the bed if I need to lol)

I just dont want to go buy a truck tomorrow and end up being able to not haul my quad!

I dont have my suspension on yet so i cant measure it exactly, so hopefully my 51.3 number is accurate!

Thanks in advance guys!!!

could you just load up the raptor backwards with the tailgate down so the wheels will clear?

Well I have wheel spacers going on the back (+ 5 overall) until I can get an axle. So im guessing the back will be about the same width.
Someone is telling me a +2 rappy fits with 2-3 inches to spare, so my +2.25 rappy SHOULD fit with a couple inches to spare.

Hopefully... im going to look at a 94 s-10 4x4 with 85k miles for 1200 bucks...original old guy owner :)
