Alright guys I have been thinking about changing the exhauts on my truck. Right now I have a Flowmaster Super 44. I have just got tired of that deep flowmaster rumble. I like the way the new Corvettes sound and was wandering if any of you guys knew of a way to get my truck sounding remotely close to it. I just dont want the truck sound anymore, I want a high performance car sound. I guess is how I should say it
Oh and i have a 1999 Silverado with a 5.3l and im willing to lose the catalytic converters to.
I know I know peels the grammar probably sucks
grammar is fine. Ninja feel bad.
Maybe you need smaller diameter pipes? Will bring tone up higher?

servers here have no sound card :( They are made for digital imaging only. All processing power is needed for that. Sorry, I will look at home tonight.
That exhaust sounds badass!
Reminds me of the SLP Exhaust made for the charger and 300c.
thats what i was thinkin they sound wicked. now if i can only find it for a reasonable price.
heres the bad news i just found out the Corsa Sport exhaust for my truck is $785 and some change. plus they dont make it to where you can just order the muffler and do your own piping. atleast not that i seen :(
damn... well.. if you think about it this way.. That's a set of LTE's or Barkers.
yeah thats one way to look at it. although i just found a set of there mufflers called Corsa Db Black
here they are on some GTOs

I've got the Corsa sport on my pickup (and GTO). In my opinion, Corsa has the best sound, but you're right...it ain't cheap.
Search around Ebay and you might be able to find a good deal.
I have an exhaust clip of my GTO on YouTube, but not of the Denali. I should put one up.
+1 on Corsa sound. I had a full Borla system on my 5.0, really liked it as well
Corsa is very similar to the Corvette with the dual mode option, but it's a bit louder.
For the money, I'd check into Borla too.

Damn :jaw: If my truck sounded like that I'd prolly never get out of it :grin_nod:
i can't believe you want to get something other than a flowmaster. i love my 40 series on my truck. it has a 3" pipe all the way from the catty to the tail.
but to each his own i guess. good luck finding what you want.

not sure thats a "stock" motor in that.
Here's an example of the borla catback vs. Borla full plus cam

I have always run the flomaster because that is what we installed and I got tham at cost. But when I got my IROC it had Borla and I loved to hear that car. There are some cheaper mufflers called turbo terminators that are bad ass too. Good luck!
I heard a set of Magnaflows on a Challenger recently, and I really liked them!!!

well i decided to just keep the flowmaster for now. and just have some straight pipes welded in place of the catalytic converters for now
