Title: 160 foot dirt drag
Post by: jwraptor on October 05, 2008, 09:06:25 PM
I had someone jockey my bike this past weekend.  The guy wouldn't launch off of the limiter though but he ran a best 3.383@52.8 mph.  I was just happy the bike made it down the track 7 times so I can adjust from there since my crash.

There is a 300ft sand drag test n tune on saturday that I hope to attend.  Bike has never ran 300ft at a track.

There's room for improvement in there though.  This was with stock shocks all the way around, no bar, still fairly heavy, and launching about 4000 rpm.  It was in the top 4 fastest bikes there.  One bike we beat was either a 4mil or 7mil cheetah cub.  That guy was telling us it was a 4mil but when I talked to my builder this morning the same guy was at there shop buying a chain and other odds and ends and was bragging to him about the numbers and that it was a 7 mil.  Either way he was pretty pissed when he lost to the raptor.
