Title: best steering stem
Post by: 1badazz_700r on October 01, 2008, 04:57:43 PM
Ok, im going to be buying a set of fast flexx bars and steering stem. 1st question- what degree bend is the most comfortable and what type (atv high or low etc.) also what size clamp do these need.
2nd question- what is the most popular stem and clamp(anti vibe).
3rd question- should i get a +1 or +2, which is better for longer riding as far as fatigue. Thanks in advance for your help. If anyone is selling any of these items im looking for please let me know

I have 14 degree atv bend Flexx Bars & Rox Speed FX 2" adjustable pivoting risers.
Soon I will buy Rox Speed FX anti-vibe risers   They have 7/8 stem & 1 1/8 bar clamps (stock stem) or 1 1/8 stem & 1 1/8 bar clamps (aftermarket stem)

Rox Anti-vibe risers (carried by sponsors)

Hell i'm 6' and I got a Houser +3/4 stem with anti-vibe clamps so its around +2 with the clamps and I really don't have that much more room to play with as far as cable lenght but mine is perfect for me I think anyways.
