how was the diving?
Pretty good.
Rain cancelled some of my dives.
I saw a hawksbill turtle, sting rays and several lobsters. Jelly fish were breeding, and I saw several moon jellies. They were very graceful to watch.

Thanks Randy/Peels.
It was a great island.
I'll post up some pictures of Barbuda next after lunch. It is Antigua's sister island 30 miles to the north. Population 1500. Former vacation spot of Princess Diana.

I need to try and remember to look at these when I get home. Not much to see here at work.

It is so odd, I've never heard of that one. Guess thats getting added to my list of races to do.
This is the K-Club, owned by Italian designer Krizia. Princess Diana stayed here four times.

This resort was for the rich and famous, or for those who have just won the lottery. Money has to be no object as the prices are sky high. Their most famous visitor was Princess Diana who stayed here four times, twice with the two Princes, although children under twelve are not allowed in normal circumstances. She said it was the only place she could find peace and you can see why, security is tight and discretion is an important part of the service.
On arrival in Antigua (often by private jet) you will be met by K Club staff and their personal pilot who will fly their private plane the fifteen minute journey to Barbuda. At Codrington airport a K Club jeep awaits to drive you to the resort.
The "K" in K Club is the Italian fashion designer Krizia and everything in the resort is color-coordinated in turquoise and white, emblazoned with the initial and reflecting the colour of the Caribbean sea just a few feet away.
There are forty cottages on a beach over four miles long. The cottages are grouped around the Clubhouse which has a game room, library and TV room with VCR. The bar, restaurant and relaxation areas are informal and stylish, the atmosphere is one of cool luxury.
Each cottage has an open-air shower and very large bedroom. The rooms are complete with designer accessories, bathrobes and perfume. There is a mini kitchen and bar with room service for those who never venture out and the view of the beach with its fabulous sunsets might be all you need to get away from the stress of a high powered life somewhere else.
All meals were included in the price but drinks are not, and naturally the prices are high. There is complimentary tennis, windsurfing, snorkeling and sunfish sailing and a nine hole golf course. The swimming pool is close to the clubhouse but the beach is second to none. All beaches in Barbuda are open to the public but it is very unlikely that you will see more than a few people walking along. Local people have little or no interest in famous guests and K Club does not encourage their guests to explore the island.

well ill be adding that to the list of places to go
