I was thinking it might be cool to get a dual head pipe set up and then put 2 GYTR cans on it.
Do u think its possible without much custom work?
I would say with the proper cutting and welding toolsanything is possible
i kinda agree. i think it would just depend on the type or mufflers your wanting to use
hmmm this would definately be sweet

there was a guy on RF that made duals out of two stock systems. Since the can positions are the same on the gytr you could use those cans. the issue would be mounting, since both cans mounts attach on the left. You could shave the mounts and use a strap style instead ???
Either a stock exhaust or GYTR should be easy & inexpensive to get a hold off, like Colorado mentioned a new can mount on the left would be an engineering issue but doable. Good luck if you decide to search RF for pics, there's only a few dual exhaust threads ;)
Would the GYTR cans match up with a header from a set of duals?
It'd be an expensive test to try. I think you'd have to modify the tubing coming from the pipe to fit the header off a dual system.
You would need to fabricate your own head pipes, but yes, very feasible. How about dual stockers? Quiet and flowing well? Have torch and welder...will travel! Anything is possible.
Great thought. I like my blue HMF, I could have two!
any exhaust shop worth it's salt can make you some head pipes, they'll probably have to order the small diameter exhuast tubing, and you'll need to leave the bike with them to test fitment. Call some shops and see what they can do
Ok, cause i would love to have dual GYTRs
that would be cool, but like everyone else mentioned, youd have to get the mounting bracket to the other side of the can
id suggest getting some dual headpipes that are already made, another GYTR or whatever can you want, then just make a midpeice, or is it not that easy? ???
i'd like to have a set of dual Yoshi Rs7's If this works out for ya let me know so i can give it a shot

That would mean baring the cost of the head pipes, plus the cost of your choice of cans, and then building a mid pipe (Which Barker's for example don't even have). You might as well of just bought a full dual system and be done with it. ::)
gotta admit it would be pretty freakin cool tho, especially with dual hmf 8) i say check ebay for some used material and look around for some more info and do your homework before you try it

but to have something that NOBODY else has or will have.......priceless
Well my fabricating limits are vary slim, i would have to get the pipes premade or made for me...
