What is the thickness of the tubes? I am curious as I am doing a 7/8" .062 swinger. It is drag only as the struts dont absorb jumps very well. Just curious?
wow that blows :( isnt the t bud ones people have been breaking? didnt preddy break 2 of em? ???
:( :( Don't know what else to say.

dang dude that sucks. sorry to hear bro. atleast it broke at the end of the weekend
Beans is gonna test his luck @ repairing it. But, I'm looking currently @ lone star.

I'm sure he will. Give him a call.
That blows. Hey Preddy, did yours break in the same place?
Krandall - How much was the swinger? How long did it last?
What is the swing arm made of ? DOM tubing or .... Moly
I heard a rumer that Tony could be at my shop this week. If and when I see him I will mention your swinger and see if we can get another one. SLC makes a strong ladder bar swing arm you should be able to beat on pretty good. That is the style is going to build for myself in a +10.
Frank that's .120 wall tube. I bent my 1.25 od .120 wall swinger just behind the shock mount this weekend pounding the whoops. I would think a 7/8 .065 would be ok if you keep it short and on the track only. Its going to want to twist right to left. a larger OD with the same wall thickness will give you more rigidity with out a lot more weight. If you want to know exactly how much give me a call and I could figure it out for you.
i haven't read a good review of these swingarms yet...too bad Krandall, terrible luck. :(

That would be greatly appreciated Paul! Keep me in the loop w/ what happens
Any chance of you mentioning mine too? The very same thing happened to me, but I have been trying to get ahold of him for MONTHS!!
Nobody call him. Lets get him in Pauls shop first and then let Paul take care of it. We don't want to scare him off.

He would have to answer the phone first in order to get scared
Ok, no voicemails then.

I do have his house number
I have his house, cell, and shop (shut down) but I'll hold off from calling.
Broke at the welds.
Crazy.
Sorry to hear that. Especially since it took forever for it to come in!
~Brian
thats definitly product deficience, it broke right on the welds...you "should" be able to get a new one
"should"......if he was still in business.

Thank Paul. Tim is doing a +10 and has the +12 done. They are for the dragbike, which as you know will never see the whoops. I think she is officially reserved for the track  Are you going on the 28th?
yes and we have a test and tune going the friday before if your interested. Matt at DTR is renting the track.
I will do what I can for all you guys as far as T Dub goes but to be honest I don't know anyone that has ever had any influence on him repetadly. I would keep calling. The squeaky wheel gets the greeks. I have a number of contractors that owe me money and that's what eventually gets me paid. It pisses me off every time.
I cant make it on friday. I think I will bring the ol reliable 690 if I cant find anything faster to Jockey
I hope you fellers with the T-Dubs get them fixed but looking at the track record I think it may be less of a hassle just to buy another one :(
Hopefully you still have your old swinger to fill in as a replacement until you find a new one.
~Brian
Thats sucks, hopefully both of you get replacements.
Good luck!
Did T-Dubs get busted yet? ???
Well, I finally got these pics up, this past weekend I pulled the tdub off and put the stocker one back on while I wait for my new SLC.
First Pic: This is the front part of the swinger where it mounts to the frame., the entire middle bracing snapped out of place.

These next 2 are.... news to me. Cleaned the swinger up. Freaking welds around the right side brace of the shock mount..... Welds all busted.. Entirely aruond the freakin thing.

dude that sucks. again sorry to hear it man
I think I remember you and Socal bragging about the pretty welds on those swingers. Just goes to show that "pretty" don't mean shit.
Glad you got a quality swinger in the works randy
holy crap, that is horrible. Should not break that way!
Man just glad it broke when it did before the rest came apart....
Looks like a combination of shit off shore Chrome moly and lack of penatration to me.
My +4'' was all cracked/broke around the welds on the carrier housing like yours is around the shock mount.
Looks like we all took it in the ass on these  Ol T-Flub better hope he's never at the dunes when I am, the rat bastard
Randy is right about the welds, the other is metal fatigue for what ever reason, adds up to crap.
my +6 tdub is starting to look just like the 2nd and 3rd picture. I sure hope it doesnt break.
I hate to say it but if it looks lo\ike that its already broken. It just hasnt broken apart yet. You might be able to have a weld shop " wet it in " with a tig welder but it will very likely break any way.

Agreed.......I'd be lookin to find a high quality replacment if it were me.
If it came from overseas, the metal, then I guess it would have metal fartigue.
