Title: loose is not good ! the tighter the better!
Post by: BADRAP08 on August 21, 2008, 07:55:16 PM
Okay so i just recieved my ASV Shorty levers from Kenneth at KB Motorsports today  and i am having trouble getting the clutch cable tightend, if i try starting it in gear it jumps forward which would mean the clutch is not engaging fully, i have the adjustment at the levers as far as it can go but still isnt enough  there is what looks like another adjustment right next to the engine doesnt seem to be helping or maybe im just not doing it right.

any help is appreciated

Thanks

~Kiefer

oh yeah and i have an extra wire from the stock clutch assembly that has some kind of sensor that is pushed in when the clutch is not depressed, wtf is this??

can't help really on the cable. but that button / switch thing is the clutch sensor. telling the motor that if it's in gear and the clutch is puilled in its okay to start. you won't be able to hook it up. I had to zip tie mine off on the frame. now the rappy starts w/ it in gear.
