I lost one of my bolts to my exhaust tips , and I know Krandall lost a tip at a race :'(, is there a certain type of locktite we should use on those small bolts to insure we don't loose them again? or do you have a better idea to secure them?
Thanks,
Aaron
Red loctite should hold.
Let me know if you need some spare bolts.

Same here. I'd think Blue would be the way to go. that's just the "semi" permanent stuff.

Yes it is, but with a little heat it will come right off.
I would do blue LT with a lock washer.
This is what I do with the bolts I take out and have to re install once in awhile. Like the tips on my barkers. I put a small amount of ultra copper on the threads of the bolt and install as normal. They do not vibrate out. Works everytime and is no problem taking them back out when needed.
this happened with my HMF exhaust at the dunes. one screw came out!

Go to your auto parts store, check out the gasket / sealant section. Look there and you will find it. Ultra Copper is a High heat sealant. You can also us Ultra Black if that is what you have..
Permatex - Threadlocker Gels in the GEL TWIST™ Applicator.

Ultra Copper is a high temp silicone made for exhaust.
It makes a great vibration resistant threadlocker that is also easy to remove.
Since I started using it I have not lost a bolt out of any pipe.

I need to pick up some Ultra Copper for the tool box, thanks for the heads up
I used to do the silicone trick on my dirtbikes, 2 strokes are notorious for vibrating bolts loose. Things like the seat bolts that need to come out regularly I used silicone, it dampens the vibration and puts just enougn resistance on the bolt to keep it from backing out, but still makes it easy to remove when you throw a wrench on it. to Trx for the suggestion.
