 thats how i did for my 35"s
I was torn between those Hoss wheels and the Rockstars. I chose the rockstars...

Those are nice wheels I thought about those myself....
Who makes 36" tires ???
If they're going on a Chevy 1500 it's going to :bash: the hell out of it cause even with 6" lift the torsion keys will probably be cranked all the way up. If it is 4x do a straight axle conversion otherwise your truck will look like this

Good looking wheels! I'm going to run a set of the 20x10 KMC XD Monsters on my truck as soon as I kill my current tires, they will be ran with 38x15.5r20 Toyo M/T's.

alot of companies make 36" tires, and i would like to do a straight axle conversion but it is way too much money and it can never go back to stock and no the torsions will not be cranked
Yeah I guess if you want to run Slicky Mickeys or Swampers...Never heard of a 7" lift either.
Not trying to talk shit I used to work in the industry. just trying to shed a little light in case you have'nt done your homework yet.
Do yourself a favor run a 35" tire it will open up your options and you won't have to go 8" or 6" with a body lift. Unless you want to go huge... Then by all means.
Btw a SAS can be done on the cheap. But yeah you really cant go back but why would you want to. I've seen what happens to these Chevy's cause of a broken tie rod

This is at the local OHV it all started as a broken tie rod. The owner thought he would come back to fix it and left it by the time he returned it was thrashed. He tried reporting it stolen. Last I heard his insurance co. was being billed for a heli-evac
damn that would suck. i would be so pissed
That would suck. :(
fabtech makes a 7" lift, i was thinking about going 35"s but not sure yet and i no fabtech also makes a 6" lift but its more expensive, i don't no what i want to do yet haha... but im deff not going sas because its only going to be an "urban wheeler" haha and will never see the trails, that is what my jeep is for
and i do no bout lifting trucks and making trail rigs, but i will admit this is my first chevy i was more into jeeps and yotas before
Right on...What's the specs on your jeep..wish I still had my Rubi...
ive got 35's on my 07 rubicon with a 3" lift, they are toyo open country m/t's nice tire on and off road
Sounds nice... Toyo's are one of my favorites.
yeah so far so good! since i left the STL had mostly on road driving, sound good :grin_nod: and minimal wear  and if i have to go rock crawling or mud bogging (when it rains) which it doesnt in the desert i know that they will perform up to my standards which are quite high.
we used to have a saying in Missouri that off roading is like sex "First you ease into it...then once youre in you go balls to the wall till you blow youre engine
great saying Badrap. we kind got one like that around here too
