Someone can verify this for me but I beleive monsters removes the box totally,. ???

The trinity adapter has one of the biggest throats on it and was one of the best intakes out of GYTR, ProDesign, and Itself.

Monster's intake is the same as the rest, style wise.

Actually the Monster intake is a tapered bore, compared to the trinity which is a radius intake

Dont know which is better ?, Monster is like a Velocity stack on a hot rod car and the Trinity is a bump or radius about mid way down in it that reduces the size that way.The Monster is polished and looks cooler and I heard it was 40 or 50 thousands bigger where the hose hooks up? and both use the stock air box. Some one should measure them both I think holeshot tested them both and said they were similar in performance on a R.F. post.

I have a Pro Design & will be upgrading to FCI when its released.  The intake is only as good as your Air/Fuel map.  Is there a dyno near you?
