LOL, good luck. Keep on eye out on the factory Nikasil. My bike was a low hour 07 and it was starting to wear through already. That is why I went big bore. It cost the same to have re-nikasiled as it were to cost to have the BBK sleeve installed.
Yeah mine has a very tiny scratch in the nikasil, it would probably be ok but I'm not going to take any chances. I'm actually considering going big bore at this point. I can see a couple of light spots in the cylinder too.

You might as well do the BBK. Here is Bos dyno compairing a 686 and 727.
