Thats because its an 05,06 or 07. They made a few updates for 05 the plastics and reverse. They also changed the gearing on 4th and 5th gear.

Flip your bracket over that mounts to the bars that is why they are high I can see it in the first pic

Do the 450 shocks mount up on the 400ex or does it need some fabing

Powermadd mounting kit should really be revised.... IMO I tried to get it on but never was able to do something decent looking. I got some rox mounting bracket for my powermadd and they're straight   :batman:

Nice 400ex, I prefer '05 and up, but a built one is always good. ;)

I just can't stand the sitting position on these... it seem to push me forward or something... I just hate it. Maybe it's just me too, lol

I put them on for my bud. Needs slight VERY slight modification. At the top of the shock tower wehre they mount you have to grind off some excess metal where they hit only about 1/4" and they are good to go! :batman:

3 coats of Epoxy Primer (because regular primer doesn't sticfk to aluminum)

5 coats black base.

4 coats clear.

Send to me next time and I'll give them a thick coat of powder for you. That painting is to much work

Nah. It's not bad. It helps that my dad does auto body stuff so I have access to everything at my fingertips.  :)
