300ft sand drags
« on: October 11, 2008, 11:58:19 PM »
Today was my first day back on the bike since my crash july 20th and it felt great.  This was also my first time my bike has made 300ft passes.  Best pass of the night was 4.83 at almost 64 mph with 1.7ish 60ft time and the bike stood up at the launch.  Which was the first time it has stood up in 15 passes.  We tried out two tire combo's unfortunatly I couldn't do a gear change.  The tires were 22tall 12pdl extreme launch in second and cross the line in 4th and the other tire was 25tall 16pdl staggered extreme launch in first and cross the line in 3rd getting ready to go the 4th.  No wheelie bar with stock shocks.  I was happy as it's still at duner weight and status excpet the oof drag pipes.

Nice run  Was that with the 22's or the 25's? Did you strap the shocks?

The best run was with 25tall 16pdl stag. ext.  The shocks were not strapped but I do have a lowering kit on the bike.  We make it more rigid with a bar and change the gearing for the big tires and I think it will alot better times.  My exact numbers are 1.774 60 ft, 63.72 mph @4.833 but the bike stood up on the launch.
