well i have been running the gytr intake and filter. The filter was showing some signs of wear,so i decided to replace today. I went to the local autoparts store and got the biggest K&N filter i could find with a 3.5" inlet hole. Lets just say i have no airbox now
.I ended up cutting the whole aibox apart to fit it in.I did reinstall the sides of the airbox to hold the computer and the rear tail section up. This big airfilter made such an improvement that i couldnt believe it
before it felt like it just would fall on its face at a certain point and rpm. Now it pulls like a mofo and no map adjustment
My theory is that with the extensive mods i have done to this, the gytr does not flow enough air for them to work properly. Now that iam flowing enough air, lets just say i have perma grin right now.Is this a common improvement or did i just get lucky? I think exentix will be posting some pictures soon. I dont how big of an airfilter most people have but this thing is a monster. any input greatly apprecitaed
