Thanks
I gotta say those 22' 7 paddle haulers were perfect for walden. Hillclimbs (Tree shoots) were awesome, and after I destroyed my buddys worked predator, nobody wanted to race me
It was so nice though, probably only 30 quads total out there, Colorado Sand Cars showed up and put on a awesome show with their rails and truggys. The River shown in the picture is where the tree shoots are, and every nite it would eat away at the climbs making them super steap. I ran every climb that didn't have a 3 ft or better ledge to jump just to start the climb.
The last one I did was a bit too extreme , and I ended up tumbling the quad down the hill (My buddy Phil was like "Dude, why the f@ck did you even try that hill?"
). All it did was break the bead off one of my haulers, but it ended my climbing/racing on the dunes for the weekend. It took 1 1/2 hours to get the quad back to camp
, but it was perfect timing since we decided to hit the trails in the area in the morning anyway.
I had a blast, can't wait to get back to Walden
