it is off hwy us 50 in Nevada. about 80 miles east of Reno Nevada. check it out on http://www.duneguide.com/ or any other dunes u want to check out

yeah im excited :clap: this will be my first trip out there :thumbs: its exactly 250miles from my door step so at 100mph i will be ther in 2 1/2 hours :thumbs:

Cool yes, big no.  It's definitely bigger than Sand Mountain.  I love it because you camp right on the beach and go to sleep every night to the sound of the ocean and quads.  At night, you get the marine layer so it makes it harder to ride with goggles on because you get a bunch of mist on them, making it harder to see.  All and all, it's one of my more favorite places to ride mostly because of the atmosphere.

I go to Oregon dunes. I love it up there. If u like pismo then u will love it in coos bay. I go for a week every year. I can't wait until I get to go back. :thumbs:

sorry to hijack this thread,but...you can camp right on the beach!!!!  hell yeah! Gotta love that marine layer, used to call that "toolie fog" I have got to get to pismo!!!If not to just visit family...but to ride!

I've been trying to plan a trip up to the Oregon dunes but since I moved from NorCal, it's an extra 600 miles on top of the 400 or so miles it was before I moved, but I will definitely make it up there.
