Question¿¿¿
« on: September 21, 2008, 03:59:12 PM »
hey guys havent been on in some time. i got a question though, i have a 660 and so far ive only got to like 105km/h (thats like 65mph) and didnt if thats like a usual top speed? mayb its less cuz im like 215lbs.  also i got a friend with a 400 arctic cat sport quad and he says he can do 120, id be ashamed if i lost. so is there any way i can get more power/speed for cheap? thanks

also my reverse knob is loose and very tricky to get it to work, does anyone no how to fix it?

Expect 71 stock,  75 at the most with big 3 mods.  Carbs probably need a good cleaning. Or speed limiter is acting up. Have your sprockets been changed? If mods have been installed, you may be jetted wrong.

110kph is 60 mph, so I think you may have problem. I may be wrong.

My reverse knob is tricky as well.....It broke, and I zip tied it back down.

try going up a notch on the front sproket, that should give ya like 3 mph more  and im sure a full pipe, good jetting, and a nice big ol' filter can make it even more

no disrespect but you do realize we are talking kmh not mph
and a arctic cat 400 has a suzuki 400 engine which IS capable of doing 66-68
but ur right it doesnt even come up to 120 kmh

yea its faster than what i have but believe me i can hold my ownto a stock z... and ive done it a few times

my former best friends neighbor has a 400z with a yoshi full pipe, and when mine was piped and jetted i could keep up with him on his land, where i never rode before... and the guy we ride with on state trails has one and i can kinda keep up with him, but the suspension holds me back alot, hopefully not anymore tho cas i took out my lowering kit

I bet the Cat could reach 120 mph off a tall cliff

ok but still, a 400z should not be able to do 60+ mph
A stock Z should go 66-67 mph

on a 660? just to make sure

but if a stock z does 66-67 then a stock raptor 350 should do about 60 and ive been told thats not even close downhill
