Back from Hatfield Mccoys - Pics
« on: July 27, 2008, 10:32:34 AM »
Went great  :)

Casualties =  :'(

Rear Brakes - changed them while i was down there but got air in the lines so i rode 2 days w/o them
Rear Skidplate - Now rubs on the sprocket and brake rotor, any suggestions?
Rear Tires - Completely Bald, Razr 2's in a week hopefully
Kill Switch - Needs to be cleaned, started button barely works now.
Front Bumper - Slightly Pushed back, slid into a tree

Held up pretty well considering all the rocks and mud i went through. I was in mud above all the tires at points, and a creek crossing. At the very end of the 2nd day of riding my back brake seized. So we went into town to get new ones, i put them on the next day (taking me a half hour to realize the piston screws in and doesnt push in) but i got air in the lines and just rode the next 2 days without them.

We got on the expert trails on the last day and there was some crazy hill climbs. It rained that whole day not helping anything. But one of the hill climbs was so steep that my dad Grizzly 350 started going slower and slower then just turned off  ??? so he locked his brakes and winched up the hill.

Some at the KOA we stayed at took a picture of me because i was so muddy at one point, i asked him to email it to me when he could, so when i get it, ill post it.

I drag raced a kfx700 and won.

I'd LOOOOOOOVE to hit those trails on the rappy. Been hiking on them before. A few years prior to getting the rappy. :)

I've been their twice... The first time nothing broke (mostly stock YFZ450) the second time I went my LSR rear end messed up; the FCI Intake kept falling off, and I had more plugs in my tires then I could count .  I think Hatfield McCoys is a place to take the whole family due to the scenery .
