Nice thread.  I lost my crank bearing at an inopportune time (if there is ever a good time to lose one) and went with the hotrods +5, 11:1 wiseco, +3tb, Phucker port with +1 valves and a 5050 cam. No corrected deck height or anything.  It was dynoed with a GYTR intake with UNI dual stage filter & pro-tec lid (gotta try to keep the dirt out better this time to prevent another 100hr engine failure). Oh yeah, barker duals too.  If money were no object, I would've sprung for the +6 barkers with a cnc head, that will be for the next build.  It made a hair over 65hp and 52tq with a big fat power band.  I know there is more power in the head yet, but it hauls some major ass and I can lug it all day on the trails.  I had it out on the sand at silver lake a couple weeks ago and I had problems drag racing because I was as close as I could get to sitting on the bars and I was still standing straight up coming out of the hole in 2nd, sand was wet.  I cleaned up on a lot of banshees when I hit 3rd (finally keeping the front end under control) and I could run down a yfz with a big swinger and that happened a lot faster when I raced him uphill a couple times.  The sand stars & stock swinger probably don't help my drag racing cause either.  If there was only a longer, smoother drag area at silver lake :(

I love the build and the power.  It's so damn addicting...I'm sure I'll find a way to get my hands on that cnc head before next spring but then I'll need a swinger for sure...never ending...then I'll have to widen it and go long travel...

Again, great thread

Sweet!  I'm glad your happy with your build bro...that's what really matters, not HP #'s or ET on a drag strip.
