lots of questions lol, np tho
1. On mine i just welded up the old holes and just drilled and tapped new ones, i abuse the hell outa that skid plate(i high centered it earlier today on it lol) no problems at all, but ill be adding some beef, i dont want to have any returns.
2. Depending on how much power u have. I dont ride alot of MX but id imagin a +2 would be best for you(if you dont do much hill climbing), but if you do alot of hill climbing when you ride trails, id go with +3.
3. On mine i didnt use a jig, but i'll have one for this. Mine was .002" off I KNOW, i checked it with the calipers after every weld, i take warpage into consideration before and after every weld. I could go on(im a perfectionist) This is no walk in the park i know, but i do this kind of work all day every day
4. If something were to go wrong (NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!) I would eather fix it or replace the core. If you look i took carefull consideration to continue all the stock bracing and ALOT more...this thing is ROCK SOLID.
This is good quality work. I get $100.00hr to do things like this all the time. I'll probably have close to 20 hrs in each one of these. Do not be afraid of the quality. You wont get quality like this anywhere else.
If you have any more Q's i got A's, just shoot.
