You've been watching those youtube videos havent you.
FYI, you can never get too much light in a picture. If you slow down your shutter speed it will allow more light in the picture, but you need a bipod or something to set the camera on. Some of the pictures I take take upto 30 seconds to capture.

this one i tried that mode you were talkin about pred, where the shutter stays open longer, definatly need a tripod or bipod. when the lookin hole seethroughifer goes black, its definatly hard to keep still.......
