450 engine in a 660

im wondering if the engine from a yfz 450 would fit the 660 frame

why would you waste your time? the rap's a tank and 450's are all top end you need the big displacement torque just to lug it around

I'd go up in cc's not down. It would look pretty small in the frame as well since the 660 is such a tall motor.

hmm?  How is going from a 660 down to a 450 "going up"? Just buy a 450. ALex is correct. THe high revving engine needs the low chassis of the 450. Now..put a 660 in the 450 frame, maybe. :thumbs: :rofl:

Quads are like cell phones and computers new s--t coming out by the hour. Just gotta buy and be happy!! Grap slow down form a plan and follow it. If you want a 450 sell your 660 save some $$ and buy the 450. But first take some time and think about what you really want and not be lead by impulse. What seems great on Monday may not seem so great on wendsday after you think about it. Good luck and hope you make the right decision.
