I'm a little jelous, and pissed. I drove up the Pouder River from Ft. Coliins to Walden and never saw any sand. Where the hell is it because it looks like it is worth the trip! :nana:

Next time you go to Walden, take a right turn and go north about 10 miles and turn right, you'll see the sand from the highway.  Anyone going up in the next two weeks?  I'll be up there this weekend and next weekend.

I might be game for weekend after next Troy.  Is AJ/Sandeater gonna be there too?

Yeah I just talked to AJ and Kiel yesterday, they will both be there and also the Mooseknuckle crew from the sounds of it.  We are gonna get Aj's bike dialed in this week and see how they do.  I need to see how my bike will run with these Giesick and Kenz bikes, my dyno curve used to be the one to match last year, now everyone I know has gone bigger than me so I want to run against a couple similar bikes with better top ends and see just how much difference there is before I tear mine down and start sending parts to racers edge, lol.   If I don't get whooped up on too bad, I may leave mine the way it is for a little while and start modding out mama's rzr.  That's a big if, when I get whooped up on I'll probably end up sending my head off right away, losing sucks ass

Looks like a great place to go. What's closest town to this area to figure out how far it is? We're down in Parker and only dunes I have ran are back in New Mexico. Who's going and when?

I'd like to hook up a July trip, I just don't think I can pull it off this month.  I still need to hit Epic for a tune, then it would be fun to test it out at Walden.

Nice pics Aaron....theres a 20 foot cliff at deadmans now and the river is still flowing  :help:  Fun to watch crazies try to climb it and trash their $15k+ bikes down it and then try again

I got lost the first time myself but found it after an hour of searching...you have to drive north from Walden 10 miles through Cowdrey then its 1/4 mile north of there and theres a sign.

Let me know if you want to go and if you can't find it.  Poudre Canyon SUCKS to take, never go that way.  Its faster and maybe 10 miles longer to go 287 to Laramie, I-80, then Wy 230 (Snowy Range Rd) aka Co 125 towards walden then there is a really nice shortcut to go in the back way.

What part of Fo Co do you live in?  I live next to Budweiser Brewery off I-25 and Vine/Mulberry area.

Walden is all I ride but you should go to KP with us in Rock Springs, Wy and see some REAL sand.  Walden sucks and gets old really quick but its a cool place to ride thats close but only for a day MAYBE two at the most.
