Title: 04 Raptor restoration
Post by: Spdfrk1990 on December 24, 2009, 01:36:36 PM
I just bought a 04 raptor and working on getting it back to like new condition. One of my next things to tackle is the shocks has anyone rebuilt their shocks if so how do I go about getting them apart? Im also working on removing the parking brake I took all the hardware off so far. What is the wire that connects to the clutch lever for? Soon ill be removing the swing arm and axle also to clean that up and powder coat it.

NOt sure rebuilding the shocks would get you much. They are not valved. Clean them up or just replace them. That wire you speak of is the clutch over ride. Allows you to start it in gear, if you haver the clutch pulled in.
