Houser Setup
« on: May 23, 2008, 01:24:39 PM »
Getting a Houser A-Arm setup soon. Confused on some things. Is a +2 regular travel kit going to work with my stock SE shocks? I think I have it right. Regular travel the shock mount position stays the same no matter the +? And the long travel the mount position is extended however many inches?

You are correct. Your SE shocks will mount right in and you won't have any issues! ;)

Is it worth it getting the extra 2 inches on a regular travel setup? Just until I get the moola for a long travel kit?

I went +2 only with my iShock kit, you will notice it FOR SURE.. It's so much more stable in the corners. I was finding myself having to use a LOT of body english coming in through some of the flat turns and burms. After I put the iShock kit on. It was NIGHT and DAY..  Seriously :grin_nod:

IMO, I would say to wait till you can afford a LT set up that way you wont be buying a-arms twice.  You should talk to steve from tqs about getting a price on a LT houser set up with motowoz shocks.  I think this would be you best bet.  Just save the cash and save your self the money from having to buy the a-arms twice....the LT set up is well worth the wait.
