yeah, I think one round of dealing with hydrostatic lock, milky grey oil, and water shooting out the spark plug hole was enough for me.  Thank GERD it was on an old Honda I had (185s)

he would have sank it if that pond was another 20 feet longer. lol bogs down pretty good right there at the end of the run. lol

When I was youg and dumb and full of you know what.......I used to do that at Winchester bay in the winter time when we went down there. I did it on my TRX250R with a set of cheap 8 paddle Kenda dune hoppers. Never had any problems luckily, and I made some 100' runs accros the small lakes that would be in the low spots after lots of rain. I would hit them wide open in 5th gear and skim right across. It was great fun, but I don't think I would do it now a days in my ripe old age  :)

I've done a little bit of that back when I was 17, but not nearly as far.  The first video is pretty amazing. When I was on my 400ex I enjoyed looking at the front tire bouncing around.

Actually, he has to let off and slow down a good 50' before he reaches the shore.

You got it. He's pretty much got that part down to a science as well. 7 oil changes later he's got all the water out of the oil.

Run/change, Run/change, Run/change, Run/change, Run/change, Run/change, Run/change and it's no longer milky.

Of course once he get's to shore (if he doesn't make it for some reason) he pulls the plug and cycles the engine.
