Actually, he has to let off and slow down a good 50' before he reaches the shore.
yeah, I think one round of dealing with hydrostatic lock, milky grey oil, and water shooting out the spark plug hole was enough for me. Thank GERD it was on an old Honda I had (185s)
You got it. He's pretty much got that part down to a science as well. 7 oil changes later he's got all the water out of the oil.
Run/change, Run/change, Run/change, Run/change, Run/change, Run/change, Run/change and it's no longer milky.
Of course once he get's to shore (if he doesn't make it for some reason) he pulls the plug and cycles the engine.
