New 2008 700R
« on: March 24, 2010, 08:20:49 PM »
Just bought me a new 2008 700R. The dealer in Brigham City Utah has about 5 of them, got it for 6000.00 out the door.  I have put a Dr D reverse lever on and moved the ignition switch to the left side fender.  Going to the Dunes Sunday and cant wait.

I will keep it stock.  As I stated earlier I put a Dr D reverse lever on and moved my ignition to the left fender, I could'nt make it fit in the original reverse knob thats why I put it on the left fender.  I put a 12v power outlet in the stock ignition hole,it fit like a glove.  Now I have a power source for my droid cell phone.

Funny thing about the 12v power plug, I was out at the dunes Sunday and my sons buddy comes up to my bike and was looking at it and said "When did the start putting cigarette lighter on the 700R"?  I told him that I installed it my self and he said that was a cool idea.  He could'nt belive how well it fit in the stock ignition hole,he thought it came that way.

SPAM can be your best friend,
pork and fat you twist and bend.
It smells real weird but more than that,
did we mention it's mostly fat?
