For all your Power Commander 3 needs!!

*DISCLAIMER* RaptorSource.com or any other people associated with RaptorSource cannot be held liable for a person/s using a wrong map on their quad and something happening.
There are many things that we cannot control, (Timing/Elevation/Gas type) When changing maps we ALWAYS suggest doing a plug chop after 15-20 mins of ride time on it.
Thanks for understanding!

I will get them up tonight. I accidentally put up an old backup vs the current one. I'll have it fixed tonight ASAP! 8)

I can't get any of these maps to open. I have even saved it to my desk top first and then still nothing. HELP! Also where do you think I would need to add fuel to the GYTR map since I am running a HC3 instead of the stage 2?
-
work fine for me ??? and yes I believe yo'll need to add fuel for the longer durations of the HC3
-
What program are you using to open it?
-
power commander 3 USB
-
Instead of clicking on open when the download screen pops up, click on save. Then you can open them from the open map menu with the program up and running. They won't open for me either from the download screen.

that was my old gytr map....done by DASA in riverside...it ran decent but was only tuned for the FULL throttle 100% runs.....thats whar u get for 110$ lol...2 runs

Anyone know if there is a map for DRD full exhaust and Pro-design K&N intake with no lid

Grant
Grant, in the FCI thread is a comparison Dyno chart of the FCI to a Pro-design type intake. I would look at the differences in the rpm ranges and add fuel along those lines to start. because it seems the FCI is also a velocity stack style you might try taking a small amount of fuel out of a prodesign style map in the lower rpm's.
Just food for thought.
Aaron
-
Aaron, thanks for the info, I will go look at that map and think about adding fuel where the FCI makes more power, that IS food for thought.

added to the first post for people if they have a map that is not on the site. 8)

Am I looking at this wrong or is there really only one map for the CT exhaust? If that is the case I will have one to add. I am alos looking for one with an 11:1 piston and CNC ported head.
-
You are correct, These are all user submitted maps. I only had 1 person send theirs in.

I have been useing the map for Monster duals - (Trinity Intake kit
Airbox lid removed) although my set up is Monster duals velosity intake/large K&N filter/air box completely removed. The problem is that... the bike runs really strong at first (4-5 hrs) but loses performance after that. When i pull the plug it is black, which is showing that it is running to rich. I know you want the motor to run rich but i think this is a little much. Is there any suggestions?
-
Within the past week I updated the site w/ some more custom maps submitted by DL700. Try this one:
Monsters - Trinity Intake - K & N Filter - No Lid (DL700)
-
That is a much leaner map... what does the "Monster inframe" mean on the map profile? Thanks for the help..
-
Just means it's the Monsters Inframe Duals. (I don't think they have out of frame ones anyways but......)

Hello everyone, I am new on here and wanted to know if anyone can help me out with a pcIII map. I currently have a stock bore, hc2, prodesign intake with k&n, protech lid, full hmf pipe. I am ditching the dobeck for the pwrcommader and I also have a dynatek programmable ignition on the way. I haven't been able to find anything yet.
I also live where there is not a dyno closer than two states away, so best I can do is get it as close as possible and use the ol' butt dyno later. Any help will be appreciated.
-
Advantage TUning is here in Colorado Springs, no too far
-
check out: http://pciii.raptorsource.com
and grab this map..
GYTR Full - GYTR Intake- 11:1 piston, HC stg2 (dl700)
It should get you dang close to where you're lookin. (don't mind the 11:1 piston) as compression doens't affect the F/A ratio.
You cna find the password for the download here: http://www.raptorsource.com/forum/index.php?topic=2699.msg88870#msg88870

If I ever make a trip up north, I may just have to stop by. Thanks.
-
I will give that one a shot. Thanks Krandall. I have read about DL being able to program a custom curve into the Dynatek, and I am thinking about sending mine off to him to get it programmed, but I don't know where exactly to send it. I would like to get it all done and then install everything at the same time.
-
I'm not 100% sure (more like.... 95% sure) that this is still his pricing:
its $30 shipped back......most bikes ive tested like near the same ignition curve from stock 4 mod to a 734 12.5 comp bike... so let me know your mods and future plans....
i set them up with 4 new curves so even if u change to a bigger build or need to reduce timing u still got that option....
paypal highdesertdyno@yahoo.com or send a check/money order with the ignition

I knew I had seen that somewhere, but couldn't find it again. Thanks, I will give him a call and double check the price.
-
Let us know what you find out.
-
Still $30.00. I shipped mine to him today.
-
Krandal, any idea at what elevation that map was made at? or does it even matter? I usually ride at 6000-6500ft elevation.
-
We've had discussion on it before. You'll see effects once you get above 10,000 feet.. For info only though.. map was dynoed @ 3,186 FT (971 M)
-
that info is correct!
i sent some more maps to u to host

DL, are you annotating the fuel types for each of these maps?
Aaron
-
Downloaded the GYTR map from Krandall, and thanks DL for the programming of my Dynatek. I could tell a difference in the upper mid range right away, but not as much on the top as I expected. The motor still sounds like it is working really hard in 5th when wide open in a sand wash. Lugging. I get alot of backfiring when I let off the throttle after rapping her all the way out in 3rd and 4th. I know the map isn't perfect, and I need to play with it some, any ideas?
-
that GYTR map actually was an old one before i ever started tuning bikes.... DASA did that one.....
i would check into an exhaust leak for the popping......
-
if thee map is for 11:1 comp its on 91 octane
-
Daniel, the map you have on there labeled "Monsters - Trinity Intake - K & N Filter - HC3 - +3 TB - Dynatek - No Lid"
Is that with your custom dynatek curve? Also, would there be much difference if someone was using Barkers instead of Monsters with that map if the other mods were identical?
Thanks
Krandall, I submitted a map to you about a year ago, but I still don't see it posted. Let me know if you want it and I'll send it again. It was dyno'd at sea level with the following mods:
Barkers, Pro-Flo w/k&n, HC Stage 2, +3 TB, Dynatek Ign. Curve 2
-
Can you re-send it wobble? I only have 2 right now that I don't have up there which I'm hoping to have up later this evening.
send it to: Krandall_bob@hotmail.com
-
No problem. Email sent.
-
Got it. Thanks man!
-
all my maps with dynateks have custom curves...there is very little change in a/f with the curves
monster/ barkers/dmc force 4's all run very close on a/f so try one of any of them
-
Thanks. You have a PM.
-
I have updated the site. New Barker map and Trinity has finally been added to the list!
-
I checked out the site and when I put the username and password in, no link to a download appears. Just a bunch of gibberish writing. Help. lol
-
Are you trying to view one of the manuals?
It should auto prompt for download for the PC3 maps.
If it's for the manuals, you should check that you have Adobe Reader installed/updated.
-
No I'm trying to get a map. This is what comes up for me.
Ê
-
for some reason, it's trying to open it w/ whatever your computer has set to open .djm files. (notepad I'm guessing)
Instead, right click on the map and select "Save Target As:"

I want to try out a new map.
I have Lte's w/out quiet cores, pro design w/ k&n and lid off? Can I use either of these maps and be ok? I finally got the cord to plut it into the lap top.
LTE Duals - GTYR Intake - GTYR Filter - Lid Off (RaptorRandy)
LTE Duals - Trinity Intake - K&N Filter - Lid Off (Zebra Dog)

ok I'm going to try this map changing by myself for the 1st time ever, lol, only ever time it was changed Phil did it for me at the rally! I'm on his map right now. I need to save that one also. I'm going to try zebra dogs first since it's a k& N filter like mine. Were these recorded dyno pulls? that'd bekidna cool to see a sheet, hey it was funny randy seeing my raptor when i was looking for maps! lol. You should use one of the polished pics...I have a pretty nice onei can send ya.

DL, I just noticed that you are in Hesperia! I am at Fort Irwin, what do you charge for a custom dyno tune? I just ordered my Powercommander 5 with FCI intake and DRD slip-on from Steve. He said he will load the powercommander before he sends it, but in know that a custom map done with the actual quad.
-
Im going to post up my dyno tune for my TBR pipe, hot cam stage 2, FMF header in a week. But I dint see any files up for a mod list like the one ill have when I get my 727 stuff from kenny.
+5 Hot Rod Crank
+2 valves
P&P head
RJ cam
Velocity intake
TBR pipe
FMF header
+3 TB
11:1 CP piston
I think that about covers it, do we have anything so I can get it running right after I install everything?
-
shoot dabigbratj a PM. that was his setup he was going to have when he finished his build, not sure if he ever found a map for it.

I dont think dynojet has stroker builds, at least they didnt the last time I was on their site. They have more like, filter and exhaust type stuff

yes you do. Have to have somewhere to start that autotune can base from. (just doesn't have to be exact anymore) You even said it yourself silly.
-
I've already ran into one low hr 09 who's piston looked worse then a very high hr 06 because of getting hot from the customer trying to figure out the AUTOTUNE :jaw:

I've already ran into one low hr 09 who's piston looked worse then a very high hr 06 because of getting hot from the customer trying to figure out the AUTOTUNE :jaw:
I am not sold yet.
-
Shocking that a guy with a dyno doesn't like the autotune. I'm no fan yet since I yet to see all the bugs worked out but once they are this will be a great mod for most people.
-
LOL,
the time it would take to teach most people how to properly use the autotune feature i could tune 2 bike
the problem with the autotune is it overcompensates for lean and rich spots in the map and causes a wave affect with very high and low numbers, its not smart enough to see its causing this condition
-
I'm going to try out my autotune over the summer, then make the drive to a dyno when he slows down and has time to do mine. I will share the results of how close the autotune does compared to a dyno tune. I'd really like to know how well it works.
-
Go to the 700 discussion section on page 2. Under my post new rims and tires/drag struts. and look at my last post. These video's will clearly show the autotune works perfect. watch the videos from top to bottom. I had no computer or anything with me. to make the autotune work right you need to run it hard for afew daysand let it do its thing. then accept the trims which will write it to the map. then unhook and remove the sensor and thats it. this info is right from jamie at fuelmoto who also owns a dyno and tunes everything. and he said these things tune perfect

Yeah somehow I missed it the first 20 times like everyone else but when I opened it up again to check for a map it jumped out at me...

check my sig ;) or first post

Well just got it all hooked up. The map thats in the pc111 that quadsquad put in dont seem right. After its warmed up and give it a bit of rev its putting sparks out the back of the exhaust. Must be running too lean. Dont know what to do now.

So I do more lurking around here than anything else, but figured I'd try and see what's available.
I'm looking for a Map now that I've finally forked out some change for my '07.
Mods:
KDS CNC head +2 valves
RJ Cam
+3 Throttle Body
FCI intake
Stock bore/stroke
12.5 CP piston
Barker Duals
Dynatek Curve 2
I'd like to get something close and then have it fine tuned locally. Anyone wanna help out?
-
Hmmm, I don't know if we have anything like that. Are you sure you don't want to add a stroker in that mix?
-
I wish I could. I have officially broke the bank, so pending repairs, the stroker will have to wait. :(
-
if you were to add a +5 stroker to that, it'd be exactly the same as mine
-
Well, send me a copy of yours and I'll tone it down a little.
-

will do, I'll have to send it from home

So I'm back to completely stock motor, stock airbox, lid on, foam filter. Only thing left is Monster Pipes. I ripped the power commander out, ran it for a couple hours, running too lean. Put a "GYTR Full System Stock Box Lid On" map on the pciii, threw it in, and it's too rich. Anyone have a good suggestion for a map for this setup?
Im not pulling my lid (i go through a lot of water and mud) or putting a K&N filter (ride in very dusty conditions), and I'm not putting any more money into mods. I'm wondering if i should just scrap the exhaust and go back to stock...
-
im looking for a pc3 map for my raptor. im running a standard bore 11:1 compression with a ported and polished head from alba, iridium spark plug, DG full exhaust, aftermarket cdi to raise timing and rev, no air box with a oversize k&n filter also run 110 oct race gas. email me at dillin1234@hotmail.com thanks
-
Hi everyone, i am from venezuela and i have a 2009 Raptor 700R with some mods please can you help me to find one tune for my mods.
PCIII
Yoshimura RS2 Full Exhaust
K&N Filter
HotCams Stage 2
Thanks for your Help.
-
Hey Dark, Welcome aboard!!!!
I think the closest map we'll have for you is this:
GYTR Full - GYTR Intake- 11:1 piston, HC stg2 (dl700)
the piston won't matter to much as it doens't change your Air/Fuel ratio. Not sure the differences between the 2 pipes. But it'll get you close to start at least.
Make sure to post up some pics of your ride/introduce yourself here: http://www.raptorsource.com/forum/index.php?board=76.0

Hello All I am looking for a map for my 06 Raptor 700 LTE'S,105.5mm JE piston, Stage II hotcam, PCIII, ProFlow intake and Proflow/Foam, ported and polished head.
My Email address is dcc00@hotmail.com please put 700 map or something like that in the subject line.
Thanks for any help
-
what kind of port do you have?
-
Well Krandall I took the head and cylinder to a drag racing engine builder, Im talking about cars here. I asked him to do a light-medium port and polish for hill climbing and just playing around nothing serious. When I got it back it looked like it had been hogged out. It looks like he did a hell of a good job just more of a port job then I was looking for I think. I should have taken pics of it but I just got it put back together today. I dont know if this helps any krandall. I just burnt up a 104mm piston in 20 min from running it too lean, so I need to get a map. Or should I just take it straight to get it dynoed?
-
i have a 2007 700 with the hmf full cometition exhaust proflow foam intake w/o airbox lid but i am running and outerwears lid was wondering what i should do to adjust for temperature differences any help would be greatly appreciated my e-mail is jw_srt-4@hotmail.com

I'm thinking due to it not being a "known" port job. Your best bet may be to bring it some where. The differences in peoples porting designs can really change/affect a fuel map.
-
Hey Krandall how goes it? Breifly met u guys out at silver lk last yr tearin into your quad. Lookin for a map like everyone. 12.5-1 je piston, hotcam 3, no airbox w lg filter & gytr intk, , run w an outerware, full gytr system, & a self p&p job. any close is great. thx Jeff
-
Oh yea! Remember you :)
How goes it?
Dont really have to much w/ that specific combo. The closest thing on file I have is:
GYTR Full - GYTR Intake- 11:1 piston, HC stg2 (dl700)
But I believe there's a decent increase between the stg2 and stg3. Plus this map has no p&p.
-
hey man, need your help with a map for pc3usb...barkers, hc3, foam int. do u have anything close to it? send me please montybox@gmail.com

If anyone has maps that are not on:

Please sent them to: krandall_bob@hotmail.com

-
Any plans to expand into a PC5 section?
-
I certainly could. :)
-
I've got quite a few PC5 maps stored on my drives I could contribute also...most have the build descriptions in it.
-
Noice.
If you want to send them my way. I'll get a section put out there. I've been wanting to update the site anyways. :)
-
I'll take a look, I got it stored on 3 drives so when I get a chance I'll zip em all up and email them.

need a map for sparks big core and fuel intake please help

I have a password and it won't let me download maps?
Thanks,
Brian
-
Username and Password for downloading the maps can be had here: http://www.raptorsource.com/forum/index.php?topic=2699.0
-
hey krandall, I am having issues getting the maps to open. It keeps giving me an error message... What am I doing wrong
-
DO you have a Power COmmander V, or 3 ?
-
does it matter if i have a pcv? the way i understood it was the new pcv software will convert the pc3 file to pcv format. but you have to convert it before trying to install it.
-
If you have the PCV and latest software from dynojet, you can import PC3 maps into the software from the menu
-
ok good. cause this is the only place i could find a map that was even close to my new mods. how much of a difference is an 11:1 cp and the 11.5:1 tech for a map. i wouldn't think it would be much if any right?
-
piston compression doesn't change the map ;)

cool. ya know, i have learned more about maps on here than the other sights in just this thread. all the other forums have been "i need a map!'d" out and pretty much ignore any questions about the subject. does anyone have any advice for adjusting current maps for some fine tuning without a dyno? i have no access to a dyno. dynojet's website says there is one like 5 miles from me, but that shop has not been open for like 5 yrs, and the nearest one is like 200 miles away. so i'm left to just hoping that someone has something close that i can finetune on my own.

what kind of mods do you have?
-
sparks x6 standard core w/ sparkie(not sure which end cap, i think its the standard one), pro design intake w/k&n, no lid, tech 11.5:1 piston, and hc2. i ride at mostly 1000-2000ft elevation. i may do the spark plug wire mod when i have it apart if that matters. i already dl'd 2 maps from your site. the gytr one with the same internal mods, and the barkers with the same internals, but a trinity intake. my internal parts are still in the mail so i can't see if they are even close. but i know that the gytr doesn't flow as well as the sparks so it will prob be a little lean, and reverse that for the barker map. i haven't seen a setup with a sparks, but alot of singles with the same internals. but no luck with getting replies for those maps.
i bought the pcv just in case i can't find a decent map so i could add the auto-tune if i had too tho.

Yea, The only person I know that's run a Sparks pipe is preddy here. But he had a 727.
The only OTHER person I know.. Is possibly DL700. I know he's tested w/ them.
-
yeah that was gonna be my next option. i just didn't want to ask him until i tried myself, since everyone and their brothers is telling everyone to ask him for maps. thanks for your help though. i prob should have just got the autotune with it in the first place. lol.

There's some "mixed" reviews on the AutoTune, There's plenty of people who I've seen say they had good results. But I myself witnessed one guy who HAD an autotune, and gained somethin like 15 HP on a dyno.. And he isn't just some "shmuck" who doens't know what he's doing. Check out on here and on Raptor Forum for some reviews on it ;) good luck bro!

hmm ive not seen an akrapovic exhaust on a Raptor in the US. great pipes for streetbikes though.
And...your english is just as good if not better than most of us

I think that my akra is not really important. Or could you find the map which is the closest
-
Go here..http://www.bob2bob.com/ , look under GYTR. The HC2 map there by DL 700 is going to be the closest we have. I'll PM you the user name and password to download it.
