It should because you got to drive it before me! Dang it... I sure hope that CD player works good. West Texas is a dead zone and it is a long ride.

Thanks guy, I am pretty excited. It has been a toy of mine that I have wanted for some time. Figured better get it now, the g/f has been hinting about a ring. We all know the toys slow down after that. So one more splurge.

Ok, you got it home, now bring on the pictures :grin_nod:

Will get some this weekend! Should have taken the camera with me yesterday as I was testing the 4-wheel drive climbing in and out of the creek. It climbs great with those bad ass boggers!

Sounds like it was a mean and fun truck!
This truck has 15x38.5 boggers with an 8inch lift and 2 inch body lift! Hopefully with some tuning this weekend on the carb, it will really wake up this beast.

I agree. This place has become like a second home (my g/f says I neglect her now). But it is great to meet new people that share the same interests and hobbies. I would of like to hang more and get some wheelin in. Great people all over this place it just sucks that everyone is so spread out. If anyone needs anything and/or is coming down to San Antonio, look me up!
Thanks again Aaron!

And there still could be a Raptor Source Rally and get some of us together! :batman:

Well I spent some time climbing all over the new toy. I new it had more throttle than meets the eye. The throttle cable mount was stripped out and was only allowing 1 inch of throttle. After a simple repair, it has the full 2 1/4 inched of play and the secondaries are opening up. But I still need to learn more about the carb to fine tune the adjustments. A little here and there and it will be great! ;)

It has Edelbrock carb with Edelbrock Performer 2 intake! I need to read up how to adjust it!

It came with some huge full headers! Not sure of the brand but atleast the tubes are big. The are pretty long too, as they go all the to the transmission. There they go into a 3 inch pipe (looks like 3") but after 2 feet the narrow down to like a 2 1/2" into flowmaster and out with a 2 1/4" tail pipe. Later on, when the money is right, I will chage everything to a full 3" out the back or dumped!

Should be a fun ride.

might be better off playing in the mud with a small block built to rev high and some spray....just my opinion......i built my buddy a tacoma with a forged roller 350 in it like 385 hore without the spray....well over 500 on the 200 shot, mud drags are big out here

Its got a 454. That Dodge is a hell of a mudder!
Mud drags are getting bigger here too. I got this one to play, no drags. She is to big, heavy and stiff. :tank: Some friends have some mud pits and have a party several times a year and its just an all out freestyle with some dragging and pull offs. 8)
-
damn son, that 454 is gona rip up some mud and a whole in your wallet for gas. have fun

After lots of tuning it was time to try her out and see how she will handle. I am now working on gathering parts to convert to cross-over steering and re-doing the entire cooling system because it got hot and should not have.
Here are a few pics of the aftermath! ;)
