New Exhaust
« on: June 20, 2011, 12:29:28 PM »
I wanted to thank everyone for their help with my exhasut question. Now I have decided to just get a slip on but I was wondering if you guys had any reccomendations on what type I should get...Im basically just getting this exhaust because I want my bike to be louder. Im not necessarily concerned about getting more power out of it..Thanks! :)

In all honesty.. If you're just wanting a slip on. I'd suggest just pulling the spark arrestor out of the stock exhaust and save your pennies to buy a full system. ;)

BUT.. If you're looking for looks and louder... The HMF has a nice price point. And they sound awesome!

+12 on this post.

the hmf will look and sound way better than the stock without sparky, but cost more. Pullin sparky is free.

If you're stuck on a slip on, I agree with the above. The barker S/O looks pretty cool too, but never heard one in person to comment on that end.

Buy a s/o that will allow you to add the header later on. Other wise you'll be spending your money twice. Just my opinion.
