well i finally got all the stock stuff out!! i only got the piston installed and she's still headless at the moment, because i was too stubborn to get a 4" hoseclamp thinkin "how hard could it be? i rebuilt my yz250 3 times and never had a problem."
so it took me like an hr and a half to get the piston in the cylinder.
i'd get the first and second rings on, then when i was tryin to get the oil rings on, the damn seperator (the ring that looked kinda like this /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\) would pop out! so i'd have to take the oil rings out a little to get it back in place and put the oil rings back in place. of course then the second ring would pop out. over and over and over.
then i finally got it on and dumbass me forgot the freakin base gasket.
idk wtf i was thinkin there
i did get the ring gap right, and the orientation is close, but i know the oil seperator was turned some, but it wasn't directly under or above the oil ring gaps, so i figured it was close enough. but anyway everything looked good until i got the cam out. i was havin trouble getting the decompression pin out, and turns out it was bent.
other than that everything looked pretty good. i was running a little lean though, so i should have turned up the fuel a little, but it wasn't horribly lean. here's some pics of the stock stuff. i'll post some of the new installs in a few days.
