Title: Powder Coating and Ceramic Coating group buy!
Post by: robkd on June 11, 2009, 10:42:27 AM
I have been working with Randy at Max-Pro on getting some powder coating, and ceramic coating done for all of us.  He responded very well to this idea and is excited about getting all of our business.  Randy does everthing from firearms, to atv's, automotive, residential, and commercial coating.  He has a 20ft. oven for large items such as sandrail's, rhino's, etc...  All powder coating is done in a three coat process which everything is primed before it is shot, then coated most of the time twice.(sometimes more)  Custom colors will be at the customers cost and price will vary depending on how much you need done.  All work is guaranteed!!!  Top notch work and craftsmanship!  So great in fact that he does Arlen Ness Motorcycles work too. Don't miss out on this group buy!

Prices for powder coating are as follows:

Swingarms - 1-9 $45......10-24 $35......25 and over $25    these are normally $65 each!

Frames - 1-9 $200.....10-24 $175.....25 and over $150.....custom colors are $75 per frame extra but if more than one person wants that color it gets split between them!  Normally this costs around $250 per frame.

Wheels per set (2) - 1-9 sets $70.....10-24 sets $60.....25 sets and over $45 per set!

Ceramic coating prices are as follows:

Pipes - 1-9 $25 per lin.ft.(about $30 to $40 a can)....10-24 $20 per lin.ft....25 and over $15 per lin. ft. (ceramic coated prices, also he says the satin black is invincible!)

Keep in mind all prices are subject to change for custom colors, and all work is guaranteed to be done right.  Everything is prepped and primed before coatings too.

Call Randy at Max-Pro today!!  1-541-756-4057  for any and all questions.

Shipping address is:

1866 Sherman Ave.
North Bend, OR 97459

Question. Are these prices JUST for the powder coating (not shipping back) or is that shipping included back to me?

does this also include sand blasting?

Shipping will be extra, and all powder coating jobs will be stripped, primed, powder coated most likely 2 to 3 times.

Any chance there is a website or some way we can see the "1-9, 10-24, 25+" sets?  I assume they are colors/patterns/etc.

lol, ok that makes perfect sense.  I thought it was different prices for different types/coatings.  I could use some work on my a-arms.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Sorry i didn't make it more clear on the post.  I can get quotes for whomever needs them on special projects.  There has been a lot of interest but only a couple of takers so far.  If you have small jobs they can be done as well.  Let me know

I was in Coos Bay this past week and stopped in and talked to Randy.  Really great guy.  Sounds like they do awesome work.  He said he could do whatever color that is in the Prismacolor (not sure of spelling) but special non-stocked could be spendy.  5 pounds of powder can run $100.  If multiple people want the same custom color, they would split the powder cost.  Black ceramic looks very cool for head pipes.  Turn around time is about a week.  If you have any questions, he said to call.

Im interested in getting my pipes done too (either just the cans, no tips, Or cans & headers).

Probably matte black. Sounds like we have a few people interested in matte, so maybe we could get that stealth black for cheap?

Unless he has a matte black already (im sure he does).

Do I need to request a quote from him?
