Riding this weekend I blew a rather large hole in my holeshot GNCC and I was wondering my options for repairing if possible. It is on the sidewall and tried to plug it and slime and it didn't work I was thinking about trying to have it hot patched but I don't think that will work on the sidewall. Any thoughts or suggestions?

only thing i can say is you will have to get a new tire dude
-
sidewall repairs are pretty much impossible, I know I read about someone literally using superglue though on theirs and it held.. worth a try.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ thats your option!!

Yep new tire :'( Im kind of annal i couldnt just go buy 1 tire unless it was pretty new.I would have to buy a new set. So with that said i have a used 20x10x9 gncc with 3/4 tread sitting around.$45.00 shipped. I had to buy new ones because the one shredded on the dyno and some how this one stayed intact and in good condition. So i have an odd one sitting around. I can post a picture later if you want

The only option is a new tire. even if you do fix it it will always leak.

Let me double check my size on what I have, Also has anyone ever tried to put a tube in as an option?
-
With sidewall damage it would be a waste of time and money.as soon as a rock or stick hits the tire in the right spot your done again.
-
listen to these guys. I just threw away a used set of ITP hd,s. Sorry. If you ask and wait some one should have a pair of take off,s they would give to you for shipping. However by the time you pay for shipping you could probley buy 1 new tire!!

OK, Here is what I ended up doing due to the hole in my tire was more like a slice (long) then big in diameter. I put a tube in and it looks like it's holding not too bad. Now my only question is I have this 1" slice in my tire what could I use to seal it up so that no dirt or mud get into the tire and puncture the tube. I was thinking of using a tire patch or a hot glue gun just to seal it up. ANY THOUGHTS???

I have a suggestion. Do not roam to far from your truck!!!!
-
What do you think will happen? The hole is not wide it's narrow and about an inch long I don't think it is big enough for the tube to come out.
-
honestly i dont think its a good idea running with a hole in ur sidewall, its just asking for trouble

Just to give everyone an update rode my quad yesterday with the tube in my rear tire and I had no problems at all so far so good. I was quite surprised it held up! $20 tube versus $90 tire looks like I am ahead of the game. I hope it lasts until I need new tires all around.
