i went riding yesterday and my 07 raptor kept dying then it would start right up,after a while it dyed and would not start back up.I pulled the spark plug and put a new one in still nothing,seems like i'm not getting spark it cranks over fine just wont run any ideas??

I would'nt rule out a fuel problem. When you lose spark, it usually does not come back. Your bowls could be running dry. Clogged needle valve from gas tank, or float stuck? Open it up and clean it out, still a prob..., then maybe go for the spark. Try running with reserve on too. I had mud in my main fuel line once. Would run on reserve....weird

i tryed that already that is why i think it is a spark problem even when i pull the spark plug out and hold to motor you cant see any spark

no iwish.. do you noanything about coil pak?

I would be willing to bet that you might have a short in either the ignition switch/or killswitch. I'd check those out first :thumbs:

those both are all right because when i turn key on it turns over if i shut the kill switch off it dont turn over i can jump start it and it will run but will die after a little while and does not like to idle

Sounds to me like your stator might be going bad.
Have you ever jump started it from a car?

What i am asking is if you have ever jump started it from a running car. Because this can fry your stator easily. Thats what happened on my 350. So if you do jump it from a car make sure the car is turned off.
I asked you because that may be why you are not getting spark = stator fried

great point, I was wondering what you were getting at. No stator=no spark.

where is the stator located

Are you grounding the spark plug to the Engine when checking it?

we had the same problem on my son's bike, found out that the small coil in the stator was open circuted. The small white square plug on stator harness, should be resistance on the white w/red trace, and white w/green trace wire's, test with ohm meter. we ended up getting a new coil and wire system and fitted it all up ourself's after doing so the bike started and we were back in buisness. jsut make sure u seal the rubber seal with glue so it doesnt leak.

Try taking the carb apart and cleaning it really well. Clogged jet..... sticky float???????? ???
