parking brake block off

hey so i was just sondering if any body on here is using one of these,  i saw it online when searching for parts  and i think im going to buy one,   my parking brake doesnt work well anyhow and i never use it so i might as well get rid of it to drop a pound or two(haha)!

very common mod. I cut the mechanism off, never got around to taking it off the back.

what part did you cut off?   on the lever?     im gonna do that this week  probably buy the pro armor one.      will my brake fluid need to be drained and refilled/blead  when i remove the mech.  from the rear brake caliper?

yep, and follow the wire from that mechanism to a plug right below radiator. Unplug it and make sure you seal it. Seal it because if it were to get wet and short, it would kill the iginition while riding. THis will disable rev limiter. Then take out the guts. Cable and rear mechanism. Saves a few pounds.

I cut the wire, and put plug back in and put electrical tape around the plug.

Oh and "limited" was running his mouth off at Site Admin over little $hit. Pretty funny actually. :lol: When they first started the site in MAy.
