cleaning tip/tips!
« on: December 22, 2008, 08:39:44 AM »
ok so my buddy told me a trick to cleaning the hard to reach areas on my quad and it works awesome!

all you do is spray scrubbin bubbles on all the areas that  are tough to clean(mainly motor and swing arm area).  Let it soak for a few minutes and then rinse it off!

it works great,  anyhow my question is should i spray any type of teflon or wd 40 or anything on the motor and swingarm parts afterwards to protect them?    i know when i clean my  revo im supposed to use wd-40 for protection and lubrication

please advise me on any cleaning tips or "rules"  you might have!

thanks for the help!

I would re-lube everything. THat cleaner I am sure has degreasing properties and will clean off most of the chain lube.
