Some Racin at St Anthony
« on: September 10, 2008, 11:11:53 PM »
Was up there Sept 1st-8th.  Pretty slow during the week but picked up by Friday and Saturday.
Finally got to line mine up with a couple of things after did some tweaking on my build.

1st Kill - 409 Big Bore banshee

2nd - 734 Raptor w/ Vinco port/polish, bigger valves, etc

I got beat by Hansen Performance's bikes (done by KBR) and a YZF450 dirtbike with WR crank, cam, etc and 25 shot of NOS.  He gave me 5-6 bike lengths to start out and had me at the top of Choke Cherry.  Said he thought mine ran really good.

I have videos of all the above but I have like 50 from this trip so will take a bit before I get them up. Was good time

Click on links below

Here is Hansen's 450R turbo.  I missed second gear, twice, which didn't help either even though I know I wouldn't have been very close to him at the top LOL  :D

Hansen's 700R and YFZ 450

700 with a pipe, filter, piston etc.  Let him get about half up before I left.

Thanks ;) Yea its doing a lot better now that bumped up compression.  I just LOVE to come and start climbing the hill, then stop and see people pointing and laughing saying this guy isn't going to make it up choke while he is already 1/3 of the way up it.  Then the look on their face when I come over the top is priceless hahaha.

Current stuff:

Stock stroke & bore
Racer's Edge 14:1
Barkers
Kenz P&P Head
+1 valves
X2
Fuel ATV intake
+2 KDS Throttle body

If anything in the future, it will be a stroker.

The look on the guy's face with the 734 was awesome when I told him it was a stock stroke, stock bore bike too. :)

Hansen's are fast, especially the turbo 450R I raced and their YFZ, but it didn't want to run right.
