It could be a few reasons. You could be onto something with the TB sitting improperly in the boot. I know the Fuel ATV intake has worked well for me. ???

AJ (Sandeater) uses Aaron (Formerly of Epic performance) for dyno tuning .  He uses a tuning link, so I doubt it's a dyno tuning error.

Did you put new rings in the piston with the new build? Its Std. bore right. If so I will put money on it that the factory Nikacil is wearing off a long time ago. My 07 had low hours and it was already wore off. Thats not helping you for sure.
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

I know the dyno tuner has done very well for these guys, I just wonder if he has serviced the equipment, and things have changed. I personally am suspicious of the cam timing........But let's be honest here......I want to make sure everything is nailed down properly before I go straight for the obvious. Physics don't change with altitude, more(better) air in = more power as long as long as the rings are sealing 8)

Could it be the A/F sniffer needs to be serviced so it reads correctly. They work off vacuum right?  Ticeman serviced his sniffer right before my visit to the rollers

I know from personal experience that a cam 1 tooth off will make a Raptor run terrible.
I would make sure you are lined up with the right mark on the flywheel. Mine was 1 tooth advanced and I lost all top end.

I was one tooth stupid but changed it.  I lined up the "I" on the stator/flywheel and lined up the cam gear marking with the V on the top of the head.  I can take pics of the current timing if you'd like.

Aaron did replace the brake on his dyno.  It could be that his brake was bad before and I have high numbers but just seems like this should be a 65hp quad.

About the piston thing, i was mis led when buying it.  I was told not to do a 12 or more....well I live at 5K and ride above that.  I could probably do a 13:1 and still run 91.  I just am tired of tearing into this thing and spending big $ and not being happy with it.....

Yep it was a brand new CP with rings.  I had someone else put that in and the Web cam.

I think you're putting to much weight in the dyno #s.  I think racing someone who has a constant bike is a better measure of improved performance.

Well ya part of it is the numbers but I am looking at the graph comparison.  Seems like it makes smoother power now.  I am a little faster than last year, but not much.  Feels like I should be faster than I am after dropping $500-$1000 ya know  :D

Back to back numbers dont lie. Did you check the alingment of the TB? Kenny said if its cocked a bit it will hurt you performance pretty good.
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

I know numbers don't lie, but if things changed like he said on the dyuno, that could explain some of it.

No I haven't checked the TB yet....forgot to mention I have +1mm valves now also.  Not sure if that makes any difference with the lower comp piston and cam combo I am running
