Hi
I am new to raptors
I have a 2006 700 and after a long ride when I restart the bike it cuts out and runs rough for about 30 seconds then clears.
It's a standard bike and always starts from cold or hot it only does this if its been on long road run
Regards
Dammo

Are there any mods to it? Intake/Exhaust/Fuel Controller?
-
All factory standard
It will run all,day with no problem it only does it when I turn it off for a break

As a rule of thumb, I never liked to touch the throttle until it had idled for 30 seconds at least. Mine was like that. Longer if cold... You'll foul the plug...
It got a little better when I ran with no air box lid though.
Check your plug... If the bike was used, go ahead and change that sucker.

I concur with the spark plug replacement. Also probably worth adjusting the valves. Pretty simple for the Rappy 700 (No shims)

+1 adjust those valves... simple....
could be something ignition... stator..... coil... but doubt it. it's only runnin rough for 30 seconds...shouldn't be something too terrible
<crosses fingers>
if it runs fine with throttle for those 30 seconds, not sure Id worry too much.
edit:
oh..... just thought of something... when it went from one extreme temp to another winter to summer, Id have to play with the idle screw on mine.... it didnt like to idle cold in the winter, so id turn it up...but then in the summer, have to turn it back down.
Im only talking like 1/4 turn here....Don't turn it alot, but that might help you.
