Thanksgiving Glamis Style...
« on: August 10, 2008, 02:56:14 PM »
A few friends and I are heading to Glamis for Thanksgiving weekend.

We're going to be getting an RV set-up for us by http://www.luv2camp.com/

Anyone else planning to be there?

Never truly been, I was stationed in Yuma, AZ (right next door) for three years, so I've seen the "madness" before, but I can't wait  :grin_nod:

Should be VERY exciting for you to be right in the middle of the masses. If I was you I would do every "Safety" thing you could to prevent other people from hitting you.... I know it sounds bad but it's true. I would like to come meet the great Colorado700R at Glamis and give him the tour  :grin_nod:

For safety, I sometimes wear a reflector vest over my jacket, and also the light whips that have LED's all the way up the whip kick ass... they look cool, people can find you easier, make a great camp light if you forget a light :D, and people can see you alot easier

Cause it'll be f'in freezing! But then again you're from Colorado, you might just be riding around at night in shorts and a hawiaan shirt.... anything below 80* and I'm freezing! LOL.

Makes it a good 22 hour drive for me, and you know I'll truck it the whole way there with some of Peels special creation.

I WILL make it there before I get too old!
