Well after 10 days I've put on 1500 mil
Getting 40 - 42 mpg

I wish I would have bought a Adventure/Touring Bike due to where I live. It
would be nice to chase down a gravel road once in a while, maybe the next bike  ;)

Gotta love the FJR's smooth power delivery, great looks & adjustable wind sheild
Sorry no pics yet, I'll see what I can do this weekend

I was told to look into "Interceptor" detectors. I still haven't checked them out.
I'm worried about traffic volume, so little traffic at times if the radar isn't activated until "The Man" is right there then I'm busted  :help:

they make them to plug into your intercom system...if you get one. Pretty sweet.

I was looking for tires this morning & saw cords on the rear tire
I realized the tire was squared off but really had no idea it was done for until today.
Bike is parked until next Friday   :'(  Haven't ridden the Rappy in 11 days so  :)

I called 2 local places & they will have to order tires for me.  !st place wanted to hook me up w/ Dunlop Qualifier's, my buddy warned me so stay away from them  ???
2nd place is probably going to hook me up with Dunlop Road Smarts. Let me dig up a pic in a sec.

 What do you guys think?

I've read some reviews on the Michelin Pilot Road 2

Mine is squared off too. Need to do more cornering.   All I do is commute. That is why it is for sale. :(

I try to do so as well. I have to go a bit out of my way to do so, but it is worth it sometimes. But, can't stop doing wheelies.

I have Metzelers on mine.
