How can I find out if the frame I bought on e-bay is stolen? It has a tag welded over where the oem # on the frame should be with a number stamped on it. The # is JY4AMO13810027544 can anyone check this out.

some people buy frames off ebay and cut the old vin off the old bent frame and weld it on the new one so they dont have to re register it, but then again some people do the same thing with stolen frames
