700r front shocks
« on: September 15, 2009, 10:14:44 PM »
What is a good money saver for changing the front suspension? I bent one of the shocks, it still works for now, but it is tweaked.  I have heard about using the YFZs and adjusting them to fit my riding style.  Or is it possible to have the factory shocks rebuilt, or even worthwhile?
Thanks

Are we talking about a piggyback shock I assume? Based on your screen name, I bet. YFZ shocks are awesome, but will make you sit lower. And may not have enough spring because they are made for the much lighter/lower YFZ. You can find some really old yfz shocks for cheap, but I would go with newer yfz shocks, or some raptor piggybacks.
