Check this out!!  I have a buddy that runs them for ice racing and the quality is phenominal.  If you go to youtube.com and search VHOLDR they come up with a bunch of videos for them so you can check out the quality   It is my next purchase, but beware the wait for them to build may not suit you but they are about the best you can get for a helmet cam without and external recording device.  Laser sights an all  :grin_nod:

EDIT!!!  MY BAD  :(  THEY ARE IN STOCK NOW.  WOOT WOOT

Do you know if they have any other "sample vids" the only thing that would scare me is the fact that they used a sample that the screen size was like 1.5" x 1". ::)

Got a VholdR for Christmas, I must say it is freakin badass. I have videos on youtube in "HD" from this cam. Search "4gunz4x4z" and then watch the videos in HD (you have to click the HD link to watch in HD, its under the sound bar). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vl0z85YXpWc

I just ordered the HERO 5 cam.  Its a 5 meg pixel camera that uses a up to 2 gb sd card.  I have seen a few mounted on r/c cars and decided to order the HERO 5 Cam.  The difference between the HERO 3 and HERO is is 2:
HERO 3
-3 meg pixel camera
-standard view

HERO 5
-5 meg pixel camera
-wide angel lens

Besides those 2 differences they are the same.
As soon as I get it in I will do a quick write up on it as a first impression and then a more detailed one when I ride with it!!

I plan to mount it on my helmet and a few different places on the bike. Also it will be used on my car when I do my timed autocross races and also my r/c car!!

I have a motocom DSR-100  cam system...It works really well and is really durable..I put all my rides on dvd for my friend to watch.you can also watch it on the dvr right after the ride if you want.If you have seen a pic of my quad you can see the camera by my trail tech and the dvr is under the seat.

My buddy has the GoPro. Seems like a nice little cam. Easy to use, tiny, makes decent video.
