that sucks shawna.. Will a new mid help or will you run into the same issues. Wonder what it'd cost to have that cast section made out of steel.

Well, that was the third time I broke it. I tried to gusset it the first couple of time. That didnt work too well.

I just scored a new one on ebay for 200 shipped. I'll gusset it and try again.

youve never had to gusset up that far though, your prior issues were all near where the swingarm mounts correct?

After a night of tear down.


One medium hit with a hammer.


Gusset cracking again. Looks like welding such a large gusset to the aluminum frame is'nt such a good idea.

Ouch, need an all steel frame. My aluminum sections broke too. I was in and out of the machine shop getting it fixed all the time.
