Thought I posted early this morning.  Guess not.

NaturalRaptor, you got PM.  Trying to get a plan together.

I'll bring firewood.  I'll load down the truck bed and throw the Raptor on a trailer.  Got a toolbox in the bed but I'll fill it the rest of the way up with wood.  I'll be camping BTW.

Just checked the first page for updates.  Should have done that a week ago.  I didn't even think about it.

My clutch should hold for now on the sand even with paddles.  It slips in the higher gears when I'm banging gears on the street. 

What other items are lacking?  And what quantities needed for those items?

I am bringing  some paper plates, chips, lunchmeat, bread, and extra grill, aaaaand a box of burgers just incase. Not sure what that is on the 1st page.

Okay after looking at the list I see we still need food stuff. I will go shopping in a couple days.

I will grab a bunch of bread for lunches, cheese, and some lunch meat.

I can get the condiments too, Ketchup, mustard, mayo, and....? Let me know if we need any other condiments.

I will go talk to my connections in the meat department and see what deal they will give me on meat so maybe we can do a bbq chicken and steak dinner one night.  

And what about water guys? I didn't see it on the list. Is there a place to get water there or should every one bring a couple gallons for drinking?

They do have water pumps at most of the campsites and I've used the shit out of them, still kicking. Grilled chicken would be pimp for dinner one nite. When are guys coming down, Wednesday, Tuesday, or Monday?

I brought some water/gatorade but probably enough for only 1 day considering how many people there are.

Walmart and a TON of other places sell some instant banner spray.  I think it's called "Krylon", I'll bring a few cans.   

I'll bring a case or two of bottled water and also a couple of the squarish 2.5 gallon containers too.  Keep one of those along with some hand sanitizer and paper towels by whoever is cooking and by the food. 

Me: 
2 cases bottled water
2 - 2.5 gal jugs of water
firewood and axe
charcoal and lighter fluid
pack of paper towels

       

I also have a bbq pit similar to this.  Do we need it?  I figure we can throw some coals under the main part and cook on it.
